B Corp Certification at Brams Workwear
What it means and how we apply it
Brams Workwear is B Corp certified. With this, we demonstrate that we take responsibility for how we operate as an organization and the impact we make, and that this has been independently verified. This means we meet independently verified standards for how we operate as an organization. It’s not just about our products, but about how we make decisions, collaborate with partners, and take responsibility for our impact.
What is B Corp
B Corp, short for Benefit Corporation, is an international certification awarded by the independent non-profit organization B Lab. The certification is intended for companies that combine profit with demonstrable, positive impact on people, the environment, and society.
B Corp is not a product label, but assesses the entire company. It looks at areas such as governance, supply chain responsibility, working conditions, environmental impact, and transparency. Companies are evaluated against strict criteria and must recertify every three years, ensuring continuous improvement remains central.
B Corp certification shows that a company has been independently assessed, meets high standards, and is structurally committed to improving its performance. It represents a way of doing business where responsibility, transparency, and long-term impact are integral to daily operations.

"A GLOBAL MOVEMENT, WORKING TOGETHER"
How this is applied within Brams Workwear
At Brams Workwear, B Corp certification directly aligns with how we fulfill our role as an organization. We develop products that must perform in practice, while also taking responsibility for how they are made and the impact involved.
To better understand and manage our environmental impact, life cycle assessments are conducted on a large part of our assortment. These analyses provide insight into key impact areas such as CO₂ emissions, energy use, and water consumption throughout the entire product life cycle.
The results are actively used in decision-making. For example, this has led to the transition from BCI cotton to organic cotton, with the aim of reducing environmental impact in the raw materials phase. These insights are structurally applied to improve material choices, optimize processes, and gradually reduce our ecological footprint.
Responsibility is also actively ensured within the supply chain. All suppliers have signed our Code of Conduct and operate according to recognized social and environmental standards. Independent assessments are used to verify working conditions and environmental performance, embedding transparency and accountability at every stage of the process.

What B Corp means for us
B Corp certification means we look beyond financial results and take responsibility for how we operate. It means we are transparent about our performance, actively measure it, and continuously improve.
It does not mean everything is perfect, or that every individual product has the same impact. It means that, as an organization, we are structurally committed to improvement, based on independent verification and clear frameworks.
B Corp confirms that Brams Workwear is building a company where business success and responsible impact go hand in hand.
